This year, the 84th annual International Convention was an exciting 3 days at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville. Our advisor and ten members attended this spectacular event. Members were able to hear speeches from Trisha Yearwood, Newt Gingrich, James Carville, and Dr. Patch Adams.

Nu Pi has been a vital part of Sinclair Community College since 1964. Students eligible to enroll for membership become part of a large, dynamic honor society upon induction. All students with a minimum 3.5 GPA based on 15 credit hours earned at Sinclair are eligible for membership.

Members enjoy such benefits as a society lapel pin, frameable certificate, honor society designation for transcripts and diplomas, access to the Scholarship Connection and JobTrak services and inclusion in publications of the society. Members are eligible for over $34 million in transfer scholarships to more than 530 senior institutions across the country including University of Dayton and Wright State University.

The organization also promotes among chapters and members the development of four Hallmarks--service, leadership, fellowship and scholarship. The society provides programs and conventions to assist chapters and members working to achieve the qualities of excellence we promote.
